Teach Abroad Agencies

About

About this directory

Teach Abroad Agencies is an independent directory published by Dean Keating in Horndean, Hampshire, listing 57 international teacher recruitment agencies and 1576 international and IB World Schools from public sources.

Who publishes it

The directory is published by Dean Keating, a web publisher based in Horndean, Hampshire, UK. It is not owned by, or paid for by, any recruitment agency or school.

Where listings come from

Agencies were found through public business directories, the member and associate lists of school associations, and published round-ups of international teacher recruiters. For every agency we then read its own website and recorded only what it states: the countries it names, the phases and curricula it covers, whether it is free for candidates, and any memberships it claims. Each fact links to the page it came from. Where a site does not say, the profile says "not stated".

Schools come from four public lists: the COBIS member school map, the Department for Education list of accredited British Schools Overseas, the FOBISIA member school list, and the International Baccalaureate's Find an IB World School directory (private schools only). We record the school's name, location and listing as published, and link to the source.

How agencies are ordered

On every list, agencies whose own website we have read and that confirm international school recruitment come first. Within that, agencies naming more destinations and publishing live vacancies come higher, then alphabetical. We do not invent rankings, ratings or awards.

Featured positions

Some pages carry one Featured slot. A Featured listing is always labelled as paid and sits above the list; it never changes the order of the free listings below. See featured positions.

Corrections and removals

If a listing is wrong, or you want it removed, use the claim and correction form. We aim to action corrections the same working day.

Disclaimer

Listings are not endorsements. We do not verify licences, accreditation status, contracts or employment terms. Always check terms with the agency and the school directly before you sign.
