12 agencies say they recruit for International Baccalaureate (IB) schools, including FlyTeachers, Alliance Recruitment Agency and Perrett Laver (Global Schools Practice).
The International Baccalaureate is a framework, not a single school type, and the programme a school offers decides what you will teach. Some schools run the Primary Years Programme, some the Middle Years, some the Diploma, and some more than one. The question for a teacher is less whether the IB is for them and more which part of it the post involves.
This page explains how IB teaching qualifications work in practice.
The IB states that formal qualifications for teaching an IB programme are determined by each school or school district. So there is no universal threshold. A school may ask for a teaching degree, QTS, a subject degree or any combination, and then send you on IB training once hired.
ICEF Monitor cites IB and Cambridge as examples of internationally recognised curricula in its report on ISC Research data. QTS and iQTS are English qualifications. IB employers may ask about them, but each school decides what it accepts, so ask directly.

Not always. Many schools hire teachers new to the IB and train them. Others prefer experience, particularly for Diploma subjects.
Yes, through a participating university. The IB says you apply to the university rather than to the IB.
