SEN / learning support · China
Alliance Recruitment Agency, Educators Overseas and Worldteachers Recruitment and 2 more say they recruit SEN and learning support teachers and name China as a destination.
Five entries are recorded against China and special educational needs. Worldteachers Recruitment says its search filters cover special education alongside nursery, primary, secondary and senior management posts. International Teachers Plus lists SEN among its phases and offers a document attestation service, according to its site. Alliance Recruitment Agency states that teachers do not pay a fee. Worldwide Teaching and Educators Overseas complete the list, the latter being a job board rather than an agency.
Schools carry no SEN phase in our data, so we give no school count here and the page lists China's 268 accredited schools instead. Agencies are therefore the main lead, and it is worth asking each one which named schools hire SEN staff. One practical point from Shanghai's guidance on the work permit notification letter: its document list includes your highest degree certificate, a no-criminal-record certificate, a physical examination certificate and your employment contract.
