Agencies recruiting SEN and learning support teachers for Japan

Alliance Recruitment Agency, Educators Overseas and m2r Education say they recruit SEN and learning support teachers and name Japan as a destination.

Japan has just three entries for special needs teaching in our data. m2r Education is listed in Wakefield, England; it says it has operated since 2001 and is APSCo Compliance+ accredited, and its international pages mention roles in Japan. Educators Overseas is a job board and school directory, and says it lists 600+ schools in 150+ countries. Alliance Recruitment Agency states that teachers do not pay and that it works across 36+ countries. Only Alliance names a fee position, and it has no live vacancies page in our record.

Schools carry no SEN phase in our data, so we give no count and list Japan's 115 accredited schools instead. Agencies and job boards are the realistic starting point. Before any application, note the visa position: GOV.UK states that it is illegal to work in Japan without the correct visa, no matter how informal or temporary the work. A school that cannot explain which status it will sponsor is a school to question.
