SEN / learning support · Kuwait
Alliance Recruitment Agency, Worldteachers Recruitment and Worldwide Teaching and 1 more say they recruit SEN and learning support teachers and name Kuwait as a destination.
Four agencies cover special needs teaching in Kuwait. Worldwide Teaching says current vacancies include Kuwait, and it recruits both teachers and school leaders. Worldteachers Recruitment says its search filters include special education, and that its feed shows Kuwait posts. International Teachers Plus lists Ottawa, Canada, and says it has over 20 years of recruitment experience. Alliance Recruitment Agency says teachers pay no fee. Three of the four have a vacancies page in our records; Alliance does not.
Schools carry no SEN phase in our data, so we give no count and list Kuwait's 21 accredited schools instead. Use the agencies to ask which schools carry a learning support team. One useful frame comes from England: GOV.UK states that the NPQ for SENCOs is now the mandatory qualification there, and that the course runs 18 to 22 months. That rule does not apply to overseas schools, so a Kuwait school may appoint a coordinator with a different background.
