Agencies recruiting SEN and learning support teachers for South Korea

Alliance Recruitment Agency, m2r Education and International Teachers Plus say they recruit SEN and learning support teachers and name South Korea as a destination.

Three entries cover South Korea and special needs. m2r Education lists Wakefield, England as its base and says its international pages mention roles in South Korea, among other countries. International Teachers Plus lists SEN among its phases and offers a document attestation service, according to its site. Alliance Recruitment Agency says teachers do not pay a fee and that schools pay the placement fee. Alliance has no live vacancies page in our record; the other two do.

Schools carry no SEN phase in our data, so we give no count and list South Korea's 25 accredited schools instead. With so little phase data, the agencies are your best route, and it is worth asking each how many Korean placements involve learning support. Visa status matters too. GOV.UK states that it is illegal to be employed in South Korea while visiting visa-free, as a teacher or in any other capacity, so never start work before the correct visa is issued.
